In 2008 McDermott accepted an invitation to stock and sell the revolutionary drainfield aggregate Ezflow.  This unique product is made from polystyrene and is often referred to as 'engineered rock'.

The benefits of EZflow include labor saving installation, drainfield performance enhancement and sizing reductions.  Additionally EZflow is an environmentally friendly product as it is made from recycled material that otherwise would be unproductively filling landfills.

EZflow comes in convenient 10 ft sections with easy to connect internal couplings.  Installation is quick and easy and the material is very lightweight.  In fact one hundred pounds of EZflow is equivalent to eight tons of gravel!

Drainfield performance is enhanced with improved flow due to the consistency of the material and the fact there are no gravel 'fines'.  EZflow's sidewall infiltration is superior to other materials and the product's increased void volume and storage capacity is the result of the engineered flow channels in the polystyrene aggregate.

EZflow is tolerant of normal vehicle loading and does not allow the internal pipe to be crushed.  Independent tests have proven a load rating of H-10 – 16,000lbs per axle.

Because of EZflow's inherent flexibility installations are made easy in the most difficult terrain.  EZflow works in traditional septic drainfields or mounds and is Wisconsin State approved.
