Tom McDermott, Sr., Chairman of the A.I. McDermott Co., Inc. was recognized for over 50 years of leadership and service to the water system industry Tuesday, February 19^th, 2008 at the company's 63^rd Annual Dealer Meeting at the Oshkosh Convention Center, Oshkosh, WI.

After sharing prepared remarks with over 200 McDermott suppliers, dealers and employees about lessons learned during his career, Tom, Sr. received a golden McDermott pitcher pump mounted on a walnut base from his son, Tom, Jr. current President and third generation owner and manager of the A.I. McDermott Company.

During Tom, Sr.'s tenure McDermott's expanded from one location in Oshkosh to four full service locations including branches in Wausau, Green Bay and Muskego, WI.  The A.I. McDermott Company distributes water well, on-site wastewater, water treatment and plumbing and heating products to dealers in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and Northern Illinois.
