We’ve invested in the lines that we think will be the leaders in their categories and we have engaged our manufacturer partners to get out in the field with our sales team to meet our customers, get real world feedback and host training programs.
For example:
· We have aggressively promoted Grundfos pumps, motors and controls hosting numerous installer training sessions - because their product works and is ‘best of class’.
· We have inked distribution relationships with other category leaders like Goulds Water Systems, Infiltrator and EZ Flow, Noritz, Water Right and ComfortAire geothermal heating and cooling equipment.
· We have expanded our private-label brands to help you be more profitable in a world where consumers are a ‘click’ away from name brand pricing on the Internet. Over the last year, the McDermott Classic submersible pump and McDermott PT2000 pressure tank was joined by the new McDermott Sanitizer, AquaPro R.O. and our new and improved AquaSoft Pro and Pro Plus softeners.
· Our latest private label addition is the line of AquaPro gas and electric hot water heaters; made by a national manufacturer, they are competitively priced to you and only you, the plumbing professional.
As we work our way through the ‘Great Recession’ and prepare for the turnaround, our goal is to be your ‘First Call’. In other words, when you have a need for supplies or information related to our key business areas, we would like to be your first contact. In many cases we believe it will also be your ‘last call’ as we will have the material and expertise to meet your need.
