A.O. Smith
Attention: Effective January 1, 2005 - A.O. Smith has changed their warranty procedure on old style water heaters. As a result, A.I. McDermott will implement a new warranty policy as it relates to replacing non "Flammable Vapor Ignition Resistant" (FVIR) gas water heaters with gas water heaters that are equipped with FVIR technology. The consumer must now incur the additional expense of the new technology when replacing a water heater under warranty that was manufactured prior to the FVIR standard becoming effective.
This means that if a non-FVIR water heater fails in warranty and a current model heater with FVIR technology is used to replace the failed heater, the A.I. McDermott Co. will credit the contractor the purchase price of the replacement FVIR heater - LESS the associated upgrade fee.
Additionally, when a non-FVIR heater is replaced with a new style FVIR compliant heater a new 6 year or 10 year tank and parts warranty will be provided as appropriate.
The A.O. Smith warranty varies by water heater model. The most common models and their warranties are as follows: XGV - 10 Year Tank, 10 Year Parts... GCV - 6 Year Tank, 6 Year Parts... GPVH - 6 Year Tank, 2 Year Parts... ECS/ECT - 6 Year Tank, 6 Year Parts... ELJC - 6 Year Tank, 2 Year Parts.
A.O. Smith Water Heater On-Line Warranty Verification
AquaPro Water Heaters
All AquaPro water heaters have a 6 year tank and 6 year parts warranty.
AquaSoft Pro and AquaSoft Pro Plus Water Softeners, and McDermott Sanitizers
All AquaSoft Pro, AquaSoft Pro Plus, and McDermott Sanitizer Models are Warrantied from date of manufacture. 3 years on Control Modules, 5 years on Brine Tanks, and 10 years on Mineral Tanks.
Amtrol
All Amtrol tanks come standard with a 5 Year Limited Warranty.
Delta
EZ Flow
The EZ Flow prefabricated drainfield system is warranted for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of installation to be free from defects in material or workmanship. During the warranty period, RING shall, at its option, repair or replace any defective system components at no charge for labor or materials. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Any replacement or repair parts are warranted for the remainder of the warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer. Under this Limited Warranty, RING will provide only for replacement and installation of defective EZ FLow drainfield system. The homeowner shall be responsible for any other costs, including but not limited to, re-sodding and any permits required for installation.
F.E. Myers
Sump, Sewage, and Effluent Pumps
Effective June 1st, 2008, Myers Residential Sump, Sewage & Effluent products will carry an extended limited warranty of 2 Years from date of manufacture! The effective product series are listed below. Please note that accessories, repair parts and certain pumps are eliminated from this extended warranty.
This new warranty policy will be valid on effective products with date codes of June 1, 2008 or later.

Most sump, sewage and effluent pumps carry a 12 month warranty from date of installation. The normal manufacturer warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective pump.

Most water system pumps carry a 12 month warranty from date of installation. The normal manufacturer warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective pump.
Goulds ITT Water Pumps
The Manufacturer's Warranty applies to all water systems pumps manufactured by Goulds Pumps. Any part or parts found to be defective within the warranty period shall be replaced at no charge to the dealer during the warranty period. The warranty period shall exist for a period of twelve (12) months from date of installation or eighteen (18) months from date of manufacture, whichever period is shorter.
The warranty excludes:
a) Labor, transportation and related costs incurred by the dealer;
b) Reinstallation costs of repaired equipment;
c) Reinstallation costs of replacement equipment;
d) Consequential damages of any kind; and,
e) Reimbursement for loss caused by interruption of service.
Grundfos
For 2010 Water Pro Dealers:
All Grundfos 2010 and newer date coded 3" and 4" products carry a 60 month from install, 66 month from date code warranty.
SQ/SQE/CU301/SP4.
2009 date coded product - still use the 2009 WaterPro no charge 5 year warranties.
2, 3, and 5HP, 4" product date coded 2010 and newer product also carry a 36 month from install and 42 month from date code warranty. Includes CU321.
All other Grundfos products for dealers carry a 24 month from install and 30 month from date code standard Grundfos warranty. 6" pumps and motors, MQ's - all other products.
Hydromatic
Sump, Sewage, and Effluent Pumps

Noritz Tankless Water Heaters
Noritz offers a 12-Year residential warranty on heat exchangers, a 5-Year warranty on parts and 1-Year reasonable labor.
Red Jacket
The Manufacturer's Warranty on Red Jacket Pumps is 36 months from date of manufacture on all Water Bear, Grizzly and Enduro models. It is 24 months from date of manufacture or 12 months from installation on all Red Jacket Big-Flo and Jet Pumps.
Rusco Filters
Septronics
Septronic controls have a 2 year limited warranty from the date of installation.
SJE Rhombus
SJE-Rhombus control switches, floats, alarms and control panels have a 3 year limited warranty.
Taco
Taco provides a 1-Year warranty on all products, pumps and parts. However, when a cartridge is replaced on a failed pump - the cartridge is then warrantied for 3 years.
Weil-McLain
All Weil-McLain residential water boilers, either gas or oil fired, carry what is called a 'limited lifetime warranty.' This limited lifetime warranty provides a full 10 year warranty on the cast iron sections. For the 11th year through the 25th year of service Weil-McLain requires a proportionate charge for the cast iron sections at a sliding scale of 5% of the list price of the replacement cast iron sections. For example, in the 11th year the customer pays 5% of the total, in the 12th year 10% of the total, in the 13th year 15% of the total etc. In the 25th year the proration stops and the owner pays a maximum of 75% of the cost of the replacement sections for as long as the boiler is installed.
